Glenarm Highland Games
13th & 14th July 2007

Sponsored by P & O Irish Sea

The weather played havoc with the 2007 Highland Games.  The first day of the competitions went well, but by day two it proved impossible to run a successful event and the difficult decision had to be taken to cancel.

Nevertheless, competition in the Highland Games and among the Pole Climbers was fierce.  The Sheep Shearing competition was as popular as ever, the Solo Piping Competition managed to complete all of its day one competitions before relocating to Larne for day two, while local dancers from the Glenarna School of Irish Dancing performed to an appreciative audience before the heavens opened and Glenarm Castle Estate turned into Glastonbury!
