The Antrim McDonnells (Book and Prints)

In 2017 the famous Antrim McDonnells book, written and imaginatively illustrated by Angela, Countess of Antrim, was reproduced in full colour and launched alongside corresponding illustrated prints. It tells the story of the McDonnell family from their beginnings in the Scottish Highlands and Islands and subsequently of the rise of the illustrious and warrior-like Sorley Boy in the 16th Century and his colourful descendants who became the Earls of Antrim. This beautifully produced book brings to life the history of the family who have been the occupants of Glenarm Castle since building it in 1636.

The Book and Prints are now available to purchase by calling 028 288 41 203.
